Stepped Hearth Incinerators

STEPPED HEARTH INCINERATORS

Stepped-hearth incineration systems offer facilities great flexibility in dealing with a broad range of wastes, including some that would otherwise be difficult to destroy.  These systems take their name from a unique, multi-step design in which the waste is burned and then pushed down a step to the next lower hearth to be processed again.  This 'tumbling' action exposes more surfaces in the waste and ensures more thorough destruction.

These systems are preferred for their reliability and simplicity of use and their cost-effectiveness in waste management. Alongside general waste management, these systems are particularly sought after in the medical and chemical sectors - including hospitals, pharmaceutical businesses, and pathological waste needs.

The cascading design of these incinerators ensures the flow of waste throughout the system, and with automatic de-ashing additions available, truly continuous incineration processes can be achieved.
